СВ. ТОМА АКВІНСЬКИЙ ПРО ОСТАТОЧНУ МЕТУ ЛЮДСЬКОГО ЖИТТЯ В «СУМІ ТЕОЛОГІЇ» (кн. І-ІІ)
Abstract
В статті розглянуто погляди середньовічного філософа і богослова Томи Аквінського на
остаточну мету людського існування та її значення щодо участі людини в суспільно-політичному
житті. Автор висвітлює розуміння евдаймонії як інклюзивної мети людського існування, яка
охоплює всі види благ, до яких людські природні прагнення скеровані заради них самих.

«Сумме Теологии» І-ІІ. В статье рассматриваются взгляды средневекового философа и
богослова Фомы Аквинского о конечной цели человеческой жизни и ее значении для участия
человека в общественно-политической жизни. Автор исходит из понимания эвдаймонии как
инклюзивной цели человеческого существования, охватывающей все виды благ, к которым
человеческие естественные стремления направлены ради их самих.
Dobko Т. St. Thomas on the last end of human life in Summa Theologica, I-II. This article
presents the views of the medieval philosopher and theologian Thomas Aquinas about the final end of
human life and its meaning for the human person’s participation in social and political life. We adopt
understanding of eudaimonia as the inclusive end of human existence comprising all kinds of goods that
are willed in human natural strivings for their own sake.
