Формування європейської ідентичності: між культурним есенціалізмом та соціальним конструктивізмом

Анотація

У статті розглядається поняття "європейська ідентичність", яке у науковому дискурсі має дві моделі концептуалізації: есенціалістську та конструктивістсько-дискурсивну. Звернення Ю. Габермаса та Ж.Дерріди щодо необхідності "вибудови" європейської ідентичності розглядається як приклад суперечностей конструктивістського підходу, що зберігає елементи уніфікації, реіфікації та есенціалізму. Відповідно до означених концептуалізацій феномен європейської ідентичності досліджується у контексті "культурного зрушення" в інтеграційній політиці ЄС.
