Abstract

The article deals with features of the theoretical interpretation of gastronomic culture of the society. Some definitions and structural elements of gastronomic culture are proposed. The most significant factors of traditional society impact upon the gastronomic culture are distinguished. An attempt to outline the possible methodological approaches for further study of gastronomic culture, as well as to show the options of further scientific research is done.
