Abstract

The article reviews the current state of social protection in Ukraine and leading countries. The analysis of the main areas of social protection financing was held, and it indicates that most countries are looking for ways to reduce the financial burden on the budget in relation to pension payments and implementing three-level pension systems. Recommendations for further reform of pension provision in Ukraine based on the involvement of good practices of leading countries were suggested.
