The article deals with approaches to the definition of the structure of the social infrastructure. Approaches to the definition of the term “social infrastructure” have been highlighted, components have been defined based on the analysis of the social infrastructure structure by 35 researchers which are highlighted more often or seldom by them. Division of the social infrastructure on the socio-domestic infrastructure and socio-cultural infrastructure, classification of the social infrastructure sectors by types of service have been examined, social infrastructure subsystems that depend on certain type of the public individual’s
vital activity have been studied, elements which are divided by the unity and purpose of sectors in the system of the social division labor have been analyzed.
