Submission and Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
1. General Principles
The Editorial Board considers for review original manuscripts that:
- fall within the scope of the journal;
- have not been previously published and are not under consideration in other publications;
- demonstrate clear scholarly novelty, theoretical and applied significance;
- are prepared in accordance with the principles of academic integrity, research transparency, and publication ethics.
2. Types of Publications
The Editorial Board accepts the following types of submissions:
- Original research articles (empirical or theoretical studies with a clearly defined methodology).
- Short research articles (research notes, case studies, and descriptions of best educational practices).
- Reviews of books, monographs, educational and analytical publications.
3. Manuscript Structure
A research article must be structured and logically coherent and include the following elements:
i) Author Information
Provide the author's first name, patronymic (if applicable), and surname, academic degree, academic title, affiliation (place of work / for applicants – educational institution), email address, and ORCID of the author / each co-author.
Artificial intelligence systems, large language models, or similar tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.
ii) Abstract and Keywords
The abstract (150–250 words) should briefly describe the research topic, its purpose and objectives, and concisely present the methods and main findings of the study.
Keywords: 5–8 keywords.
The abstract and keywords must be provided in Ukrainian and English.
iii) Introduction
- Research context and relevance
- global / national context
- educational or scientific challenges
- statistics, trends
- Literature review
- current state of the problem
- theoretical approaches
- what is already known and what remains debatable
- gaps in previous research
- Research aim and objectives
- clear statement of the purpose
- 2–4 specific research objectives

- correlational, comparative, etc.

- sample size and characteristics
- selection criteria
- Instruments
- questionnaires, tests, digital tools, etc.

v) Results
- Presentation of main findings
- Tables and figures (if applicable)

viii) Declaration on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
The declaration must be prepared using GAIDeT and include:
- the name of the tool;
- the purpose of use;
- the nature of the AI contribution.
ix) Acknowledgements
This section (if applicable) acknowledges individuals who are not co-authors but contributed to the research (e.g., recommendations, consultation, editing, formatting, conducting experiments, calculations, translation, etc.), specifying the nature of their contribution.
x) References
The bibliography must be provided in English and formatted in APA 7 style.
All empirical articles must include a Data Availability Statement (DAS) indicating the availability of research data.
4. Manuscript Length
- Original research articles: 30,000–60,000 characters (including spaces);
- Short research articles: 15,000–30,000 characters (including spaces);
- Reviews: up to 20,000 characters (including spaces).
The specified length does not include the abstract and reference list.
5. Language of Publication
- Ukrainian or English;
- Articles written in English are given priority;
- Author information, article title, abstract, and keywords must be provided in both Ukrainian and English.
6. Formatting Requirements
- Format: Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx);
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt;
- Line spacing: 1.5;
- Margins: 2.5 cm;
- Tables and figures:
- placed within the text;
- numbered;
- provided with captions in the language of the article.
7. Bibliography and Citation
- APA 7 style is mandatory for both English- and Ukrainian-language articles;
- at least 20 sources (for original research articles); at least 10 sources (for short research articles);
- self-citation should not exceed 10% of the reference list;
- Sources published in or originating from the Russian Federation are not accepted;
- DOI identifier must be indicated where available.
8. Article Submission
Articles must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform available on the journal’s website.
