Open Access Policy

OPEN ACCESS AND COPYRIGHT POLICY

General Provisions

The journal follows a policy of immediate 'diamond' open access to all published materials. The editorial board supports the principles of free dissemination of scientific knowledge, academic collaboration, and global access to research results for the benefit of social development, education, and science.

Definition of Open Access

Open access is understood as free, unrestricted online access to the full texts of scholarly publications, enabling any user to:

  • read, download, and save materials;
  • copy and print texts;
  • distribute full-text articles;
  • search and cite content;
  • use materials for any lawful purpose (educational, scientific, research, or commercial) provided that copyright is respected and proper attribution is given.

Conditions of Access

  • All articles are available immediately upon publication.
  • The journal does not apply embargo periods.
  • Access to content does not require registration or payment.
  • Full texts are available through the journal's official website and the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Licensing and Copyright

All materials are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).

This licence allows users to freely use, distribute, reproduce, and adapt materials — including for commercial purposes — provided that authorship is acknowledged and a reference to the original publication in this journal is included.

Authors retain copyright over their published works and grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, and archive the material in print and electronic form, and to include it in international abstracting and bibliographic databases.

Publication Fees

The journal:

  • does not charge article submission fees;
  • does not charge article processing charges (APC);
  • does not charge for access to content.

Publication in the journal is free of charge for both authors and readers.

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

The journal ensures:

  • preservation of full-text articles within the OJS system;
  • open access to the archive of all issues.

Authors may deposit published articles in institutional or subject repositories in open access immediately after publication. The journal guarantees long-term digital preservation of content through archiving in internal and external repositories.

When depositing, the author must:

  • include a complete bibliographic reference to the published version of the article;
  • add the DOI of the published article as an active hyperlink;
  • not make any changes to the accepted version of the manuscript after depositing.

Authors' Responsibilities

  • Authors guarantee that the submitted publication is an original work and does not infringe the copyright or intellectual property of third parties.
  • Authors confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another publication.
  • If the publication uses materials (figures, tables, data, etc.) belonging to third parties, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and correctly citing the sources.

Publisher's Responsibilities

  • The journal ensures a transparent and ethical publication process and open access to all materials under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence.
  • The journal guarantees long-term digital preservation of content through archiving in internal and external repositories.
  • The editorial board ensures transparency of the open access policy and sustained access to content.

Users' Responsibilities

Users are required to comply with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 licence and citation rules: when using materials, authorship must be acknowledged and a reference to the original publication in the journal must be included.

Final Provisions

The open access policy is an integral part of the journal's editorial policy and is consistent with:

  • the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative;
  • the recommendations of DOAJ.

Submission of an article to the journal constitutes the author's agreement with the terms of this Policy.
