Abstract

There was made an attempt to consider the issue concerning the content, system and significance of political rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. We have investigated the actual side of problem development, first of all legislative drafting of an individualized catalog of political rights and freedoms in those extremely difficult political and economic conditions which Ukraine faces today. The problem has been studied in comparative legal and historical aspects. We have offered some recommendations on adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in that part to European and international standards.
