Abstract

The article analyses of interpretations of «knowledge economy» definition. Distinguishes basic features inherent to the economy of knowledge and comparative characteristics of the indices of the knowledge economy are given. The article analyses the еxperience of different countries of the world as to the creation of an economic complex of the country, based on the concept of knowledge.
