Чехо-Словацька федерація як можливість встановлення рівних прав словаків і чехів у єдиній державі (спроба реалізації та її доля)
Abstract
У статті розглянуто перипетії (складності) боротьби словаків
за федерацію, починаючи з 1945 р., спроби її реалізації в 1969–
1989 рр., підкреслено, що дискредитація її як можливості
встановлення справжньої рівноправності двох народів у цей
період, викликала недовіру словаків до федеральних органів,
і це стало одним із факторів, який вплинув на долю Чеської і
Словацької федеративної республіки. Після висвітлення ходу
переговорів між федеративними органами та республіками
в 1990–1992 рр. зроблено висновок про те, що розпад спільної
держави в значній мірі стався через амбіції політичних еліт
Словацької та Чеської республік, що здійснений він був
недемократичним шляхом, без волевиявлення цих двох народів.
