О проблеме формирования раннехристианской художественной традиции в Херсонесе IV -V вв.

В статье автор рассматривает вопрос формирования
раннехристианской художественной традиции в Херсонесе. На
территории Херсонесского городища и его некрополей сохранилось
ряд памятников христианского искусства IV века. Анализ этих
памятников позволяет проследить процесс формирования
художественной традиции. Аналоги среди памятников Сирии
и Палестины подтверждают, что христианская община
формировалась под влиянием ближневосточных христиан.
