«Австрийские сюжеты» в научном наследии П. Б. Струве

Abstract

В данной статье показано влияние пребывания П. Б.
Струве в 1892–1893 гг. в Австрии на формирование его научных
взглядов и восприятие ученым процессов, происходящих в стране в
конце XIX в. Изучение работ Л. Брентано, И. Гайниша, Г. Гекнера, К.
Менгера предопределило его интерес к экономике и исследованию
влияния экономических процессов на политику и демографию.
Процессы, наблюдаемые в Австрии, П. Б. Струве проецировал на
российскую действительность. В Австрии ученый собрал
значительную часть материала для будущей полемики с
народниками, в том числе по перспективам развития капитализма.
