About the Journal

The journal "State Formation"  (hereinafter referred to as the *Journal*) is a peer-reviewed professional publication in Category B dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the fields of public management and administration, public policy, and public administration.

The Collection serves as an international platform for publishing original research findings, featuring open-access scientific articles presenting current results of theoretical and applied research in the field of public administration.

The journal regularly informs scholars and the broader professional community about trends in public policy implementation, the development of good and multilevel governance, sustainable and innovative social development, crisis management, national security and defense, and European integration, and offers original theoretical analyses and proposals regarding national, regional, and sectoral mechanisms of public administration.

The journal’s mission is to serve as an authoritative academic resource for highlighting integration trends and mechanisms for the implementation of public policy and governance, interdisciplinary approaches to the implementation of state policy, and strengthening the influence of researchers on the adoption of well-considered strategic and operational decisions at various levels of modern state governance.

The journal additionally publishes works by researchers, practitioners, civil servants, master’s and doctoral students, and scholars in the field of public administration and related disciplines.

Target audience: researchers, experts in public administration and local self-government, government officials, master’s and doctoral students, and faculty members in the field of public administration and management.

The journal was founded in Kharkiv in 2006 and is listed in the International Register of Scientific Periodicals (Paris, France) ISSN 1992-2337.

Since 2017, the journal has been indexed in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International and other open-access scientometric databases.

Since 2021, the publisher and owner of all rights to the collection has been V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
