Spectrophotometric determination of zineb with disulfophenylfluorone and polyhexamethyleneguanidine chloride

Abstract

Spectrophotometric method for the determination of Zineb in potatoes and commercial sample of fungicide in the form of ternary metal-polymer complex disulfophenylfluorone–polyhexamethyleneguanidine chloride – Zn is presented. Optimal conditions, spectrophotometric characteristics of the complex and the effect of foreign ions and derivatives of dithiocarbamates is determined. The procedure with the using of TMPC allows to determine the content of Zineb in the concentration range of 0,1-10,0 mg/l.
