Means of personal identification of servicemen of the countries participating in the First World War (1914-1918)
Abstract
The article deals with the history of the use of means directly intended for the identification of dead or hard-willed soldiers used in the armed forces of the countries of the First World
War. The peculiarities of the use and evolution of means of personal identification of servicemen in the armies of the Entente and the Triple Alliance from 1914 to 1918 were investigated.
