AUSGLEICH of the Ha Lis burg Empire: the 1867 constitutional compromise and supranational federalism
Abstract
In the article discusses assessment of the 1867 constitutional compromise and the forming of Austria-Hungary as an attempt to balance the distribution of authority. The "constitutional alignment" is described as the restructuring of the Habsburg monarchy into the imperial union of the states (confederation).
