ТЕОРІЯ ІСТИНИ ЯК ВІДПОВІДНОСТІ В ЛОГІКО-СЕМАНТИЧНИХ СИСТЕМАХ Г. ФРЕҐЕ ТА Б. РАССЕЛА

Abstract

Досліджується проблема істини у логіко-семантичних системах Г. Фреґе та Б. Рассела. Істина у
Г. Фреґе постає як абстрактний об’єкт, що виступає значенням висловлювань. Автор доводить, що Г.
Фреґе певним чином займає дефляціоністську позицію по відношенню до істини. Натомість, як і Б. Рас-
сел, він, скоріше за все, є послідовником теорії кореспонденції.

тина Г. Фреге понимается как абстрактный объект, выступающий значением высказываний. Автор
убеждён, что у Г. Фреге можно видеть дефляционистские тенденции в отношении истины. Но, как и Б.
Рассел, он, скорее является последователем теории корреспонденции.

Lebed A. E. Correspondence theory of truth in Frege`s and Russel`s logical-semantic systems. The
problem of truth in Frege`s and Russel`s systems are investigated. By G. Frege truth is viewed as an abstract object
which appears as a meaning of statement. The author is convinced that a tendency to deflationist theory of
truth can be observed in Frege`s theory. However G. Frege as well as B. Russel is probably a follower of correspondence
theory. The article investigates some aspects of Correspondence theory of truth. The author proposes
the arguments that defines the specifics it in the context of modern epistemology. Ways of representation of the
Correspondence theory of truth, the causes of the crisis in its perception and evaluation are analyzed. The author
deduces that truth-falsehood opposition is presented in their works in its classical variant. The possibility of
analysis of true meanings in ordinary and artificial language is investigated. In the paper the author shows an
important role of the theory of Truth in formation and development of Ontology and Epistemology. Modern concepts
of Truth represent the various simplified variants the Truth theory. The author presents the structure of the
own argument and suggests translation of key fragments of the ancient Greek concepts. The paper presents the
synoptic approach: the author analyzes the basic contemporary interpretations of the theory of truth. Such an
approach allows to reveal various aspects and creative potential which are in the Truth-theory.
