Possible solution to the Fermi paradox

Abstract

The paper focuses on the problem of the possible existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. It is shown that the abundance of this phenomenon may be low due to the fact that the transition from the stage of civilization to the stage of technological civilization is determined by the aggregate of random and unique factors.
