Abstract

One of the characteristics of the transition to modernity is the destruction of the ideological discourse which emerged after the French Revolution. The decline of the representative function of the interests of different social groups in modern democracies has led to the separation of the political class from other social layers. Political self-determination is increasingly becoming a private affair of an individual. In Ukraine, this is aggravated by imitative nature of democratic mechanisms. "Common Will" during the elections is the situational result of manipulative technologies.
