Abstract

The article examines the efficiency of studying the history of sociology. Attention is focused on the paradoxical nature of the everyday life of the process of development of the history of sociology. It is emphasized that awareness of this contributes not only to memorization and assimilation of the material, but also to its comprehension because understanding awakens intuition, the desire to analyze real situations, actualizes the value of social memory, enriches the whole process of learning and selfreflection
