Public Organizations in High School: the Problems of Working Efficiency

Abstract

This article gives the definition of non-governmental organizations, analyzes their role, tasks and functions. The recent massive appearance of these organizations in the post-Soviet area’s educational institutions is not only due to protect their rights and freedoms or represent their interests (in educational institutions the partnership relations are usually based on the objective ground) but also aims at developing students’, pupils’ and their teachers’ solid citizenship, independence and responsibility, organizational and managerial skills, behavioral and communication standards, self-confidence and willingness to work for the common good.
