About the Journal
Focus and Scope
«SOCIOPROSTIR» is developing the network of social scientists in the fields of sociology and social work, whose scientific interests correspond to researching and resolving social problems.
The articles containing results on sociology and social work devoted to the following topics are published in the collection:
- theory and methodology of social problems researches;
- results of social problems researches;
- social policy and social work.
The main focus of the journal is to highlight new ideas and views on society, social policy and social work.
Goal: to create a professional scientific platform for discussing current social problems, basic approaches, methods and technologies of social work, modern innovative practices in the field of public health, social security, social work to integrate the latest scientific approaches and practical cases aimed at improving social policy in the context of European integration and digital transformation of society in the context of sustainable development

- publication of works on the theory and methodology of social research;

- to present innovative practical experience in solving problems of social policy and social work

Publication Frequency
The collection is published once a year. Issues are usually published on the University website in December each year.
Manuscripts are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year. There are no fixed deadlines for submitting manuscripts to specific issues, since the process of reviewing and finalizing based on reviewers' comments can last several months.
Review process
Articles submitted to the editorial office must meet the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine for publications (Bulletin of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine.-2003.-№1) and contain the following components:
- statement of the problem and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks;
- analysis of recent research and publications in which the solution of this problem was initiated and on which the author relies, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the specified article is devoted;
- formulation of the objectives of the article;
- presentation of the main material of the study with a full justification of the obtained scientific results;
- conclusions and prospects for further research in this direction.
Reviewers of the Collection work on a volunteer basis. The editorial board highly appreciates their responsible work and deliberately does not set short review deadlines that could negatively affect the quality of scientific expertise.
A manuscript that has been reviewed and received a positive conclusion is included in the nearest issue by decision of the editor-in-chief.
Journal History
SOCIOPROSTIR» was founded in 2010. It is printed according to the decision of Academic Council of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Protocol № 8 from. 25.06.2010).
