Abstract

Our country is going through a moment of transformation when we recognize that “to do, as usual” impossible. Strategy for Sustainable Development “Ukraine-2020”, which was adopted by the President of Ukraine in January 2015, is designed to help us come out stronger from the current crisis, to assist in overcoming environmental problems and sustainable development of Ukraine in the future. The article presents an overview of strategies for socio-economic development of other countries, which should be taken into account for the purpose of effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine.
