Research activities ongeography lessons in comprehensive school

Abstract

The article is devoted to the solving of the problem of increasing the efficiency of the educational process in comprehensive school through the implementation of modern educational technologies to intensify the cognitive process. The organization of educational and research activities of pupils are invited to consider as a way to create optimal conditions for productive learning. The realities of research development of learners are analyzed by transformation of the traditional secondary educational system. The relevance and practical importance of the research activity organization in the educational process of
comprehensive school is justified in the article, based on the generalization of scientific theories and personal experience. It is in the formation of an independent, fast–acting in changing socio-economic conditions and creative person. The problems of research activity development in the process of transformation of the educational system are represented in the article. Research activities of pupils are considered in the context of solving educational tasks and achieving learning outcomes as the total intellectual, creative, social and cultural product. The understanding of the essence and peculiarities of the organization
and content of the research activities on geography lessons in comprehensive schools is examined in the article. The goals, objectives, stages and forms of educational research process; in particular, issues related to the geography study are determined and disclosed in it. The concrete means to achieve optimum results of research technology use and mastering the content of school subjects on the example of a geography lesson are offered. And the benefits for pupils, teachers, parents and educational institutions are also disclosed in this article.
