Concept BEAUTY in linguistic studies

Abstract

The article examines works that focus on language representation of aesthetic assessment based on the material of different languages. There have been results of numerous research works by modern linguists concerning various aspects of the concept BEAUTY in both synchronic and diachronic dimensions with a special emphasis on the dynamics and transformations in the semantics of the corresponding representing words critically generalized and analyzed. The problem of insufficiently comprehensive study scope of the above concept has been thoroughly substantiated.
