The service life of the drive of automobile cranes was analyzed and the causes of premature destruction of the friction surfaces of the main engine parts were established.
The wear of internal combustion engine parts under unstable operating modes was studied using the experiment planning method, which was implemented on a programmable stand. The stochastic model of each test stage was oscillograms with records of engine operating modes in real operating conditions.
The dependences of engine wear on the main speed and load parameters were obtained. The degree of influence of each of these parameters on the wear of internal combustion engines was established.
