S. Gorbanenko. Paleoethnobotanical Data From Shukliska Village (by Imprints on the Items of Clay)
This publication contains materials of imprints of grains and seeds of cultural and weedy plants from items of clay of Shuklinka village (Kursk region., Russia) of Romny culture. Paleoetnobotanical spectrum confirms the high level of technological development in agriculture; PBS presented by 130 identified imprints: 73 Panicum miliaceum (27 on the bottoms), 16 Triticum aestivum s. l., 9 Triticum diccocon, 7 Secale cereale, 6 Hordeum vulgare, 2 Avena sp.; 6 seeds of Lens culinaris, 2 Pisum sativum; 3 Cannabis sativa, 5 Bromus sp., 1 Setaria sp. Presence of weeds witnesses a bout using old-arable areas; weeds of winter crops confirm presence of the sowing with different cycles, it is mediated confirms about doubleand three-field.
