Spectrophotometric determination of soluble complexes with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol in water at different pH

Abstract

The formation of neutral chelates of Fe (II), Co (III), Ni (II), Cu (II) with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol in water at pH=1.5÷6 by the extraction-spectrophotometric method was investigated. The solubility constants of complexes Fe(PAN)2 and Ni(PAN)2, CuPANCl, Co(PAN)2Cl as well as the formation constants of the complex ions CuPAN+ and Co(PAN)2+ were calculated using the program Clinp.
