CONCEPTUALIZATION OF THE CONCEPT OF “INFORMATION VIOLENCE” IN THE CONTEXT OF NATIONAL SECURITY
Abstract
In the article, scientists study the concept of informational violence, its place and role in the system of social violence and measures to ensure national security in this context.
It is noted that modern society, in a state of permanent turbulence, feels a new increased level of violence in all spheres of human activity. Violence is an integral part of public relations and has a systemic character.
A study of the genesis of informational violence was carried out from the broadest concept of violence (behavior harmful to others) to the understanding that the informational component is contained in any violence. In a narrow sense, informational violence is a non-violent influence on the mental sphere.
It is determined that informational violence, along with economic and political, is a system-forming factor in social violence. It is emphasized that the apparent simplicity of the system actually comprehensively reflects the entire spectrum of contradictions in the modern information society. Indeed, the functioning of the state, its social, political, economic, industrial spheres are directly dependent on the work of information networks, communication and management systems, software, which make up the technical base of the information space. In addition, aggression and violence in a specific reflection, which corresponds to the socio-economic, political and cultural situation, create a crisis and instability, where information violence is an inevitable accompaniment of social life.
From the point of view of the three-component representation of the system of social violence, an analysis of its essence was carried out in the context of national security. At the same time, three methodological approaches to the definition of the concept of “national security” are considered. According to the first, security is defined as the protection of national interests from threats.
The second emphasis is on maintaining the integrity, stability, stability and normal functioning of the social system with destructive actions on it. According to the third (axiological), security is defined as the protection of the material and spiritual values of the subject from his indifferent damage. The proposed model, which reflects the axiological approach to ensuring national security, while objectifying the danger in the form of violence, which takes into account the following constructs: prevention; preservation, security, building up national values; repair damage caused by violence; post preventive organizational and legal measures to minimize the potential damage caused by violence.
These theoretical studies can serve as the basis for the further semantic filling of violence in the context of national security and the study of this problem in terms of developing an effective state policy to solve it.
