Abstract

The article provides a brief analysis of the definition of profiling as a method of verifying the information that is being notified and discusses some theoretical aspects related to the profile verification procedure, the specific features of interpersonal communication. In the current context and the future as a whole, the importance of determining the reliability of the information provided remains quite relevant. In particular, the accuracy of information can be salvageable in assessing risks and crises of varying degrees and nature. In turn, the process of monitoring, identifying and developing appropriate mitigation measures, and especially in the case of the latter, is usually an extremely difficult time to gather validated data. Such data is a necessary component for solving problematic situations and situations. Therefore, prompt analysis and rejection of distorted, false information, which allows profiling without the use of instrumental methods, is an extremely important consideration. The effectiveness of the method lies in its interdisciplinary approach and the use of adapted methods and techniques of separate, independent scientific disciplines. In the course of analyzing the nature of the definition of profiling, attention was paid to certain historical aspects that made a significant contribution during the development and formation of profiling, as a scientifically sound systematic method in the evaluation and verification of the information provided. The efficiency of the method is emphasized, although profiling as a field in science is quite young. Separately, it is necessary to emphasize the special problematic issues that relate to the specific features of the application of this method in Ukraine and the need to develop normative legal acts that would solve such problematic issues.
