Abstract

The article considers the most significant theoretical approaches defining the main directions of modern research of the time perspective of personality. Motivational and typological approaches, causal reasoning and the Zimbardo's theory are analyzed. The features of the concept of the time perspective of the personality are considered. The advantages and limitations of each approach are revealed. The idea of the necessity of multidimensional approach in research of time phenomena is exposed.
