Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of photography through the prism of its ability to include / exclude individuals in the constructed images, communities, knowledge. Photography creates «ideal» worlds that can both stimulate the individual's desire to integrate into the community, join in some practice, and demonstrate to the average person the image of the excluded, thereby consolidating in him the subordination to the existing order. Participating in the production of knowledge, photography is used as an accompanying material in this process. But even in the age of digital technologies, when the credibility of photography is far from absolute, photography and its derivatives continue to be in demand as a global technology for the generation of worlds that can include in the bourgeois order.
