Abstract

The paper examines general provisions of the theory of transsubjective existentialism of contemporary Bulgarian scientist Dimitri Ginev. The main characteristics of indicated approach are related to criticism of the essentialist theory of practice. There is specific consideration on the importance of differentiation of concepts «transsubjectivity» and «intersubjectivity», reflecting, respectively, the ontological level of social reality, characterized by  transcendence, potentiality and dynamism, and the ontic level of society, for that surface actuality, objectivity, reification, static and empiricism are intrinsic. The structure of the theory of transsubjective existentialism is built on the basis of the principle of the «hermeneutic circle» in relation to social practices and its parameters, such as: 1) interconnectivity with other practices; 2) unity of spatial and temporal dimensions («chronotope»); 3) constitution of meaning; 4) development (determinism) and the projection (voluntarism) of possibilities; 5) «situational transcendence»; 6) choice and routinization. The need for subsequent integration of Dimitri Ginev’s transsubjective existentialism to the general structure of the existential paradigm in sociology is underlined.
