Photography as an Act of «Breaking Everyday Life»
Abstract
The paper deals with the phenomenon of photography and the process of creating a photographic in the framework of the sociology of everyday life. A photo is considered as an instrument of understanding the essence of everyday life, its place in human life is explored also. Basing on the phenomenological and etnometodological interpretation of everyday life, the author analyzes the photographic act as the possible tools of «hacking of everyday life». It is emphasized that attention to social visualization, including photos, in the context of modern sociology actualizes the methods of qualitative analysis. An attempt of interpretation of «hacking of everyday life» with the help of the data, obtained in the course of the author's empirical research, conducted by the method of observation, is described in the article. The specific of the content of key concepts of this work is revealed. Conclusions about the role of the photographic image as a part of everyday life and its importance as a means of public relations in the modern world are made.
