Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of training social workers to institutions, organizations, services, social orientation. The essence and content of professional work, it emphasizes integrative interdisciplinary. Attention is drawn to the complexity of the institutionalization of social work as a professional activity of a social profile. Substantiates the illegality of removing the last of the direction of social and political sciences and assignment it to the economic sciences, which contradicts its essence and content, since it is an instrument of implementation of social policy in the wider context, in connection with which universities are deprived of opportunities to prepare social workers required profile and qualifications. The article raises the question of the need to train highly qualified specialists in social work. Today in Ukraine there are no specialists of this level or in higher education or in research institutions or in the administrative structures of different levels.
