Cultural Condition of Forming Individual and Collective Integrity

Abstract

The article is focused on potential of culture, its influence on formation of the individual and social integrity. The author emphasizes necessity of deeper understanding of culture. Therefore, in the article two interrelated aspects of the phenomenon are analyzed: culture in its subjective display as spirituality, and culture as a system of objective social knowledge. This understanding exposes the potential of culture in the process of forming and maintaining social integrity and social order; and as a precondition for the individual integrity as well. Thus, the researcher offers to include the analysis of spiritual and cognitive potential of cultural, its subjective and objective displays into the development of the methodology of social integrity problem as an alternative concept of harmonious social development.
