Abstract

We consider the general structure of the economy of Ukraine and the place of industry in Kharkiv region in it. Building Maps of Ukraine concerning the volume of industrial production in the regions. Shown that the proportion of the Kharkiv region in the total volume of industrial production in Ukraine. The general provisions for the industrial development of the Kharkov region and its role in economic development. Considered prolemy and development prospects as the Kharkov region and the country as a whole. Substantiated conclusions about the relevance of this issue and further research in the future.
