WORKFORCE AS A COMPONENT OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF KHARKIV REGION

Abstract

The article deals with the general structure of the economic potential of Kharkiv region and socio-economic factors influencing on the development of industry. The general provisions of the availability of workforce by the districts of Kharkiv region are defined. The dynamics of employment in the industry for the period 2002-2012 years is shown. The map of Kharkiv region, which shows the proportion of the employed in the production and non-production sphere in 2012 is presented. The dynamics of the average salary of a staff member in Kharkiv region and in the country as a whole for the years 2002-2012 is analysed. The conclusions about the relevance of this issue and further research are substantiated.
