Abstract

The analysis of modern Ukrainian poetry in terms of reception and functioning of antique themes in it gives reason to believe that this stage of Ukrainian antiquity has a tendency for symbiosis of high modernism traditions (including such interpretational models as neoclassical, symbolist, neo-romantic) and postmodern reading of classic heritage. Thus, a new model formed, in which all modes of impersonation of the myth in art are expressed – mythologization, remythologization, demythologization and author's myth.
