Abstract

The pedagogics department in the 1930s of the 20th century was at the stage of its formation as a chief one in a newly formed higher educational pedagogical establishment. In the article the content of the pedagogics department work of Kharkiv State Pedagogical Institute in the period mentioned above is considered. It comprises organizational, political and enlightening, educational and methodological, scientific areas.
