Materials on the Basis of Zirconium for Creating of Medical Implants
Abstract
The aspects of production workpieces from zirconium and alloy Zr1%Nb using high temperature deformation for medical implants are considered, their physical and mechanical properties are studied. The results of the temperature effect on the formation of the oxide film on the surface of these materials are presented. The changes in the structure and properties of zirconium workpieces due to exposure of thermal treatment in the air up to 800 °С are analyzed.
