Abstract
This paper proposes and substantiates that the unique landscape - a landscape of natural or anthropogenic origin that has unique, rare or signs of the best natural model, a model that has a significant value (natural, scientific, historical, cognitive, economic, aesthetic), the loss of which may be indispensable. In the Middle Prydnister'ya such related objects and landscapes that are located within areas Tovtry (Tovtry strand) and slope (Dniester Canyon) that are unique not only for the studied region, Ukraine, but also in the world.
Classification of unique landscapes of the Middle Prydnister'ya by: 1) origin; 2) spatial levels; 3) types. Types of unique landscapes, in turn, are divided into subtypes, which are characterized by individual features with natural, scientific, cognitive, recreational, aesthetic value. A unique landscape assess a five-point scale, taking into account spatial levels.
