The work is devoted to the publication of materials of the catacomb No. 119 discovered at the Verchne-Saltovskyi (Upper Saltovskyi) burial-IV in 2013. A burial chamber contained a grave of a woman of 20–25 years old and a child (a girl) of 4–5 years old. The remains of the woman were resting on the floor of the chamber while the child was laid on the soil layer of 0.25 m covering the entire surface of the floor. The woman and the child belonged to the social and property top of Verchne-Saltovskyi society. The belonging is indicated by the found inventory, which included two dirhams decorating child’s frontlet and ten coins made into pendants and necklace of the woman. Such amount of dirhams in one catacomb was discovered for the first time in the burial at the village Verchnii Saltov (Upper Saltov). The composition of the inventory allows to date the catacomb of middle/second half of the IX century.
