Abstract

For the first time the phase transitions and glass-transition processes of systems of water-N-acetyl ethanolamine (polymerization degree is n = 1, 7-8) have been investigated by means of the method of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in the temperature range of -150 ÷ 0 °С Physical state diagrams have been built, principles of development of glass and crystal states have been formulated for various concentrations of the substances under investigation. The increase of the polymerization degree of systems under investigation results in the growth of the stability of the amorphous state and an increase in the concentration range in which the development of crystal phase from the amorphous state has been observed during heating. The cardioprotective activity of water solutions of N-acetyl ethanolamine has been shown in various biological objects depending on the structure, polymerization degree, and molecular-mass distribution.
