Abstract

The author represents the results of sociological research of the system of life values of boarding schools graduates. Comparative method helps to find peculiarities of life perception of boarding school graduates and their parents, namely: the graduate tendency of becoming an average person with insignificant aims and goals; low importance of family; disturbing attitude to life; excessive focus on life problems; lack of cheerfulness and optimism. The other feature is the lowering of importance of social moral, i.e. the low desire of good for other people. Self-improvement is not the priority of boarding school pupils.
