The Possibilities and the Perspectives Phenomenological Approach to the Study Higher Education

Abstract

The article explains the use of the phenomenological approach in sociology to the study of higher education. Particular attention is paid to the fact that correlation of knowledge with the social reality is carried out exactly through the system of education. Issues of socialization of personality, differentiation of vocational education and its unpredictability are discussed. It is shown that the nature of secondary socialization depends on the status of the associated knowledge systems. The examples of application of the phenomenological approach to the study of higher education are presented.
