The article presents a typology of subjects in the state of solving moral dilemmas involved in the themes of health status, food serving and transport traffic, based on the secondary analysis of results of empirical studies by F. Trompenaars and C. Hampden-Turner. This typology consists of four types – «adamant rationalists», «connoisseurs of workmanship», «honest citizens» and «silent friends», – which were determined through the measure of dominance of rational (modernist) moral, based on respect for the state, civil society, nation, class and professional community. It opposes post-rational (postmodern) moral, based on the respect for individual practicing particularistic patriotism and his close enclave. It’s suggested to explain the differences between types and disproportions within them considering the structural-constructivistic vision of the codification of practices of behaving themselves in potentially dangerous, socially dissimilar and symbolically profitable situations, submitted by P. Bourdieu. The increase in the intensity of expectation of symbolic anti-gains from observing universalist orientation in medical service, restaurant organization and movement in transport, as the authors presume, causes a transition to the post-rational moral.
