Abstract

In the article the main groups of clients of social work are considered. The classification of clients is analyzed by their characteristics. The marginal position of client groups is proposed. The models of behavior of different client groups and also influence of the marginal position on the choice of ways to overcome social problems are determined. The relatively new category of clients of social work – internally displaced persons – is separately studied. The conclusion about the protracted nature of the exit from the marginal state of representatives of this category and prevalence of passive patterns of behavior in solving life problems is made.
