ENERGY SAVING AS A FACTOR OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF INDUSTRY IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article deals with the issue of identifying key areas of energy efficiency in industry and its impact on economic security of industrial enterprises. The author highlights the fact that energy efficiency and energy saving are the main priorities in energy policy in most countries. It has been stressed that energy security is of crucial importance for the economic security of industrial enterprises and the national economy as a whole. It has also been proved that the analysis of energy efficiency level in industrial enterprises should be based on energy audit and energy balances of industrial enterprises. The author emphasizes that energy saving provides economic entities with a number of certain advantages as a factor of economic security of Ukrainian industrial enterprises. Economic security management functions of industrial enterprises have been identified.
