Regional territorial community – the basis of the formation and development of regional settlement systems

Abstract

The paper analyzes the features of the formation and functioning of regional territorial communities as the basis for the formation of regional settlement systems, the basic features that characterize these communities, such as: size of the type and level of development of it, and so on. Filed classification of regions of Ukraine on a large area, indicators of the geographical position, the level of development of the territory, the magnitude and species composition of natural resource potential. The basic factors that influence the deployment and development of individual settlements.
